I bought a harpsichord at Sotheby's over my holiday. I do have a piano, but the 18th century has a certain je ne sais quoi, don't you think? Or are there no other music lovers here?

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
My parents got me The Doors. The 1991 movie, with Val Kilmer. It's interesting.
What did you get?

Thank heavens for small favors. This Christmas, rather than being with my family, I will be elbow-deep in someone's viscera.
I have a recipe I'd like to share. Don't be alarmed, it's for ( pasta sauce. )

Have you noticed that some people have no gift for appreciating the finer things in life? There is nothing more unattractive than a person who can't enjoy themselves.
My invitation to dinner is still open to anyone who would like to attend. The 18th, my home in Baltimore at six o'clock. I can express-mail some formal invitations if anyone would prefer.

Is there something about nurses that says "Hello, I'm weak and defenseless, please abuse me"? It's appalling the way the nurses are treated in this hospital. They are not janitors, maids, or mothers for the patients. They are trained professionals who shouldn't have to endure a verbal scourging every time they come within a patient's line of sight.

Have you ever watched the original source of your head mate? Sometimes it can be positively surreal. Sir Hopkins has Doctor Lecter down to a T.
My name is Tanya. You can call me that or Doctor Egerman. I work at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where I am the youngest surgeon in residence. I live with Hannibal Lecter. He's much nicer than he seems, really.
